Editorial standards
Source hierarchy
State statutes, rules, licensing pages, applications, construction standards, and required record forms control claims. Local health or permitting authorities control additional local requirements. EPA and CDC support federal scope and health explanations but do not replace state or local construction authorities.
Variable claims
Credential names, work scope, fees, experience, exams, bonds, insurance, permits, setbacks, materials, dimensions, inspections, record fields, deadlines, renewal hours, and reciprocity require a current direct source. If review is incomplete, the claim does not publish.
AI use
Software and AI may organize research. They are not authorities. Every cited source must be opened and checked. We do not create fictitious drillers, experts, credentials, testimonials, specifications, or citations.
Commercial independence
Content must not imply a WellDrillerPath product is required or approved by an authority. Paid material, when available, is independent research planning, not an official application, license, permit, record, course, or construction plan.
Corrections and retirement
Material errors are corrected promptly. Pages are retired when sources cannot support them or maintenance is not reliable. The original generated state pages were retired under this rule.
